Who these terms are for

Plainbooking is operated by NUVIX STUDIO LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales (number 16287603), with its registered office at 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, United Kingdom, IP28 7DE. These terms cover access to our website and the booking software we provide to venues and their authorised teams. Contact support@plainbooking.com.

You must be authorised to act for a venue when creating or managing its workspace. A separate written pilot agreement or order takes precedence if it expressly sets different terms.

A visitor’s booking is with the named venue, not Plainbooking. The venue is responsible for its visits, availability, prices, accessibility arrangements and cancellation terms. A request is not confirmed until the venue or its configured automatic-confirmation rules confirm it.

Trial access and charges

New trials last 14 days from activation, unless we agree different pilot terms in writing. During the pilot period, publishing access is arranged with us. Creating an account alone does not activate a trial or start a paid subscription.

No card is required for an agreed trial, and it does not automatically turn into a paid subscription. Public paid plans are not yet open. We will show or agree the price, applicable taxes, billing period and cancellation terms before you buy anything.

When access expires, new booking intake and publishing may stop. Your team can still manage and export existing bookings, subject to account security and these terms. Existing pilot end dates are not shortened by this standard trial policy.

Your workspace and your guests

  • Keep venue details, availability and instructions accurate, and review incoming requests promptly.
  • Use an individual account for each teammate. Protect passwords and recovery codes, enable two-step sign-in where available and remove access when someone leaves.
  • Only upload or import information you are entitled to use. Review imports before relying on them.
  • Provide the privacy information your guests need, identify a lawful basis and any special-category condition, and give us lawful instructions for processing booking records.
  • Keep copies or exports needed for your operations and tell us promptly about a suspected security problem.

You retain rights in your content. You permit us to host, process and transmit it as necessary to provide and secure the service. We do not acquire ownership of your guest list.

For venue booking information, we act as a processor. Venue processing instructions, assistance with rights requests, security, subprocessors, return and deletion should be covered by the applicable data-processing agreement. Contact us to arrange it; this public page is not a substitute for that agreement.

Fair and lawful use

Do not use Plainbooking for unlawful content, spam, deception, unauthorised data collection or attempts to access another venue’s information. Do not disrupt the service or bypass access controls. Report security issues through our security reporting page.

Do not store payment-card details, identity documents or unnecessary sensitive information in booking fields or notes. Only share the information needed to arrange the booking.

Availability, changes and support

We aim to provide a reliable service with reasonable care and skill, but cannot promise uninterrupted operation or that every email will reach an inbox. Maintenance, provider outages and other faults can affect availability. Check your diary and use an alternative contact method for urgent arrangements.

Features marked as planned are not part of the current service. We may make reasonable changes to improve or protect it. Material changes affecting an agreed paid service will be communicated before they take effect where practicable.

Support is available at support@plainbooking.com. A response-time or uptime guarantee applies only if separately agreed in writing.

Leaving or suspending the service

You can ask to end a trial or close a workspace through support. Export records you need and agree how pending visits will be handled. Cancellation does not itself cancel a guest’s visit.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, a security incident or a serious breach of these terms. We will explain the reason and next steps where lawful and practicable. Data is handled as described in our privacy notice and the venue’s processing agreement.
