Only what the service needs

Plainbooking uses cookies and similar browser storage for sign-in, security and a display setting you choose. We do not currently use advertising cookies or optional analytics trackers. We do not ask you to accept a blanket advertising-cookie banner.

This notice applies to our marketing site and application. NUVIX STUDIO LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales (number 16287603), with its registered office at 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, United Kingdom, IP28 7DE operates Plainbooking. For personal-information use and your rights, see our privacy notice.

What is stored

  • Sign-in session: a first-party cookie with the Plainbooking pb prefix (including __Secure-pb.session_token on HTTPS) keeps you signed in. Sessions last up to seven days and can renew as you use the service. Signing out invalidates the session.
  • Two-step sign-in: temporary pb.two_factor security state normally lasts up to ten minutes while a verification step is completed. HTTPS cookie names may include __Secure-.
  • Workspace appearance: local storage remembers the light or dark mode you choose on that browser. It stays until changed or cleared. It is not sent to an advertising service.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile: selected forms use a security check to help distinguish people from automated abuse. Cloudflare receives technical browser and network information for this check. Its behaviour can vary with the challenge; see Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy information.

Authentication cookies are restricted to secure HTTPS connections in production, are not readable by page scripts and use same-site protections. The security check is not used to build advertising profiles for Plainbooking.

Your controls

You can clear or block cookies and site storage in your browser. Blocking essential storage may prevent sign-in or completion of a protected form. Clearing local storage resets the saved workspace appearance. To end a session, use Sign out rather than just closing the tab.

We will update this notice before introducing optional tracking and provide any consent controls required for it. Contact support@plainbooking.com if you have questions.
